85,000 downloads of my book *faints*

Today I counted up all the downloads of Sealed with a Kiss – just over 85,000. Eighty five thousand downloads of a book which when I hit the ‘publish now’ button I really thought would maybe sell 100 copies, and in my wildest secret imaginings maybe 1000.

Combined with a review which compared it to Jilly Cooper’s Emily I think I may actually expire with happiness. I would jump about but it’s a bit tricky with a plaster cast on.

But really I just want to say thank you to everyone who reads this blog or follows me on Twitter for cheering me on, for telling your friends, for leaving reviews (they really help) and for supporting me. This is all sounding a bit Oscar speech-y but this year so far has just been amazing.

If you haven’t yet bought a copy, it’s still only 77p for Kindle or 99 cents if you’re shopping on Amazon.com. Or if you’re a paperback person, leave me a comment here. I’m going to be ordering some author copies and signing them, so if you’d like one, just let me know.
